Inspired by a loved one’s move to the Pacific Northwest, Carruth embarked on a journey to witness the region's allure firsthand. The resulting work is a composite of the elements that left her speechless: the deep greens of the forest, the jagged peaks of the mountains, and the diverse wildlife that populates the islands. It is less a literal map and more a reflection of how a specific environment can fundamentally alter one's internal world.
