John Raikes Photography

I am originally from the North of England but moved to london in my early twenties. I started photography as a teenage hobby which quickly became my full time occupation. My images are inspired by my passion for travel and my love of film and i strive to find unique perspectives and interpretations of well known locations and landmarks. My pictures have been described as 'film stills' and many people have commented on the difference between the optimistic, saturated colour work and the low key, almost melancholic feel of the Black and White images.
