A graduate of NYU’s MFA program, Van has established a distinct presence in both the film and photography worlds, earning a Student Academy Award and being named one of Filmmaker Magazine's "25 New Faces of Independent Film." His work has been recognized at major international festivals, including Sundance, Telluride, and Berlin. Van’s photographic practice is defined by a diaristic approach, capturing the quiet, often overlooked moments of daily life.
