Samantha Josephine

Samantha Josephine is an illustration student based in the UK. She studied Fine Art at A-level when she was a teen and was self-taught until, at the age of thirty, she made the decision to pursue illustration at degree level. Samantha has a love of experimenting with different media, with experience with both digital and traditional materials. Her focus lately has been on a combination of watercolour, gouache and pencil colours and her subjects tend to focus on people and wildlife. Over the years she has shifted from an aim of achieving realism to artwork that she truly enjoys creating. Now her work displays her passion for bold colour pallets and stylised imagery. For the future, Samantha intends to focus her illustration around environmentalism in a bid to do her part in improving life for the planet's wildlife.
