Hi, my name is Somang and I am an illustrator based in the UK. Since graduating from the Royal College of Art five years ago I have been busy setting up Somang Lee Studio in Hackney, the heart of the creative community in London. I started a plant diary in 2016 which has become my personal inquiry into and the beginning of my relationship with nature through art. This involves collecting and studying plants I find on walks, identifying them and putting them to paper with pencil, paper cutouts and watercolour.
