Jonas Heen Haeg, known as Taudalpoi, is a Norwegian digital artist based in London who builds surrealist worlds through the medium of collage. Despite holding advanced degrees in philosophy from the University of Oxford and King’s College London, Haeg is primarily self-taught in the visual arts. His practice began to gain recognition in 2014 when he won a national award for young artists in Norway, followed by exhibitions in Kristiansand and London. Working primarily in Adobe Photoshop, Haeg blends scanned archival photography with cosmic elements to create what he describes as retro-futuristic compositions. His body of work spans still images, moving collage films, and musical cover art, all unified by a texture that mimics the tactile quality of vintage analog prints. Each piece serves as a philosophical inquiry into the vastness of the universe and our place within it.
