Tonia Herrero

Tonia Herrero is an abstract fine artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. She studied painting and drawing at California College of the Arts. She is an art therapist and arts educator and has a masters from Pratt Institute in New York. Her mixed media work uses repeating patterns of abstract imagery. A rhythm is revealed in the mark-making through the relationship of the various layers of media, color, and shape. She finds peace and clarity through the compositions that are formed while documenting this journey of self-discovery.
