In this digital illustration, the artist employs a rigorous minimalist approach to landscape. A solitary tree, rendered in dark, branching lines, reaches upward across the frame, its limbs creating a delicate web of negative space. Behind it, a solid red sun provides a heavy, grounding focal point, contrasting the thin complexity of the branches with a bold, circular mass. The portrait orientation emphasizes the vertical growth of the wood, drawing the eye from the roots toward the heat of the celestial body.

The work bridges the gap between graphic design and traditional nature study by focusing on high-contrast shapes rather than texture or depth. By limiting the palette and simplifying the environment to its primary elements, CATS AND DOTZ captures the stillness of a winter afternoon or a parched horizon. The result is a clean, meditative composition that treats the natural world as a series of interconnected symbols and sharp, intentional strokes.
