In this portrait-oriented illustration, Gulec explores the tension between the physical brain structure and the expansive nature of cosmic exploration. An astronaut's helmet serves as the frame for a dense, symmetrical eruption of floral and organic patterns that mimic the firing of neurons. By replacing the void of space with a crowded, energetic manifestation of color, the artist suggests that the furthest reaches of the universe are mirrored within the internal architecture of the mind.

The work balances themes of mortality and decay against a backdrop of dynamic equilibrium. While the skull helmet hints at the fragility of the human form, the intricate pattern variations and vibrant abstract elements pulse with a sense of urgent life. It is a study of the daily grind of existence being shattered by a singular, mysterious intrigue—a big bang of the imagination that turns the interior of a suit into a vast, unfolding cosmic theater.
