In this portrait-oriented study, Kosunen explores the intersection of botanical life and patterned illustration. The composition relies on a dense layering of plant forms, where individual leaves and stems are treated as distinct graphic elements rather than mere background. By focusing on the inherent geometry found in nature, the artist creates a sense of ordered growth that feels both lush and meticulously arranged.

The visual impact of the work stems from its disciplined use of repetition and silhouette. Rather than seeking a literal representation of a garden, the piece emphasizes the tactile quality of line and the way natural motifs can be woven into a cohesive decorative tapestry. The result is a quiet, immersive exploration of greenery that prioritizes the harmony of the pattern over traditional perspective.
