In this digital illustration, Solomoniuk explores the interplay between natural forms and structured design. The central subject, a lemon, is reimagined through a retro aesthetic that favors bold outlines and a saturated, earthy color scheme. By layering dense patterns behind the fruit, the artist builds a tactile depth that feels both grounded and whimsical, capturing the essence of a bohemian interior where every object tells a story.

The squared orientation focuses the viewer’s eye on the harmony of the composition, emphasizing the repetition of shapes that define the background. This approach to still life moves away from strict realism, instead prioritizing a graphic sensibility that celebrates the beauty of everyday items. The result is a piece that feels deeply personal and artisanal, rooted in a love for vintage-inspired ornamentation and rhythmic visual storytelling.
