Ristova utilizes a vertical field to explore the spatial relationships between distinct, hard-edged forms. By focusing on bold geometry, the artist strips away the superfluous, leaving a composition that relies entirely on the interplay of scale and placement. The portrait orientation emphasizes the height and stacking of these elements, creating a sense of architectural stability and grounded presence.

The work functions as a study in clarity and visual logic. Each shape occupies its own territory while contributing to a unified whole, demonstrating how minimal components can generate a powerful sense of order. The absence of representational detail allows the viewer to focus on the raw qualities of the shapes themselves—their sharp boundaries, their solid fills, and the rhythmic way they occupy the frame.
