In this portrait-oriented painting, Ristova employs a meticulous arrangement of geometric forms to mimic the tactile quality of a woven fabric. The composition relies on the interplay of sharp lines and overlapping segments, where each color choice serves to define the boundaries of the next. By stripping away representational detail, the focus shifts entirely to the balance of the grid and the energy generated by contrasting tones.

There is a quiet discipline in the way these patterns unfold across the canvas. Rather than overwhelming the viewer with complexity, the work maintains a restrained clarity that honors its minimal roots. The result is a study in harmony, where the systematic repetition of shapes creates a sense of steady, pulsing movement that fills the frame from edge to edge.
