Art Analysis
Interlocking grid of vibrant shapes
This work presents a dense arrangement of geometric forms that fill a square surface from edge to edge. The composition relies on a flat perspective where circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles lock together without overlapping or casting shadows. A warm selection of red, pink, orange, and yellow tones is balanced by cooler purple and teal sections. The eye begins near the center and right side, where the largest circles and squares are placed, before moving toward the edges of the grid.
Smaller details occupy the top and bottom sections of the image. Here, thin lines and tiny dots break up the larger blocks of color, adding a different scale to the modern abstract pattern. These narrow elements run between the larger shapes, maintaining the rigid, flat structure of the entire piece. Every part of the surface is occupied by a shape or a line, leaving no part of the background uncovered.
