In this landscape orientation work, Daly reimagines the terrestrial world through the lens of character-driven illustration. Each landmass is populated by stylized animals—from lions in Africa to penguins in Antarctica—rendered with a gentle, cartoon aesthetic that prioritizes personality and warmth. The digital medium allows for a clean, cohesive palette that ties the vast oceans and diverse continents into a singular, inviting vision of our planet.

By placing these expressive figures within their respective geographic regions, the artist creates a functional yet imaginative tool for discovery. The composition balances the educational structure of a world map with the whimsical energy of a picture book, making the vast scale of the earth feel intimate and approachable. It is a study in how simplified forms and thoughtful placement can foster a sense of wonder about the natural world.
