In this portrait-oriented piece, Pardina utilizes a minimal aesthetic to explore the intersection of productivity and peace. A solitary desk sits anchored in shallow, translucent water, stripped of the usual clutter of daily life to focus on the raw texture of wood and the soft gradient of the sky. The composition relies on a low horizon line and a muted palette, creating a sense of vast, open space that feels both intimate and infinite.

By placing a domestic object within a boundless aquatic landscape, the artist leans into surrealism to suggest a dreamlike state of focus. The lack of ripples or wind emphasizes a profound silence, turning the act of work into a ritual of reflection. It is a visual study in subtraction, where the removal of the traditional office environment allows the viewer to breathe alongside the gentle ebb of the tide.
