Art Analysis
Interlocking blocks of geometric shapes
This work presents a dense grid of identical rectangular blocks that cover the entire surface. Each block contains a mix of circles, squares, rectangles, and triangles, along with sets of parallel lines. These elements fit together tightly, creating a flat pattern that looks the same from top to bottom and side to side. Because the pattern repeats exactly across the whole image, the eye moves across the surface without stopping in any one place.
The color scheme is limited to red, orange, black, and white. These colors are distributed evenly throughout the geometric forms, making the different shapes stand out against one another. Small triangles and thin lines are tucked between larger circles and rectangles, filling every part of the blocks. The direct, two-dimensional view emphasizes the way the straight edges and curves meet to form a continuous, modern abstract design.
