In this portrait-oriented illustration, Katariina Kosunen explores the visual language of celebration through a collection of distinct holiday symbols. The work balances organic forms with structured digital linework, creating a composition where animals and seasonal objects coexist in a cheerful, graphic space. Each element is rendered with the deliberate clarity of a modern drawing, emphasizing shape and character over complex perspective.

The piece functions as a visual inventory of festive cheer, utilizing the digital medium to maintain crisp edges and vibrant clarity. By focusing on the interplay between the natural world and holiday tradition, Kosunen creates a welcoming atmosphere that feels both personal and communal. The vertical arrangement allows the eye to wander through the various figures, discovering small details that ground the collection in a sense of lighthearted storytelling.
