Art Analysis
The rhythmic architecture of calculated form and vertical momentum.
In this piece, Valle explores the tension between rigid geometry and the perception of movement. By layering sharp angles and deliberate lines, the artist creates a sense of structural depth that draws the eye toward a central point of gravity. The vertical alignment emphasizes a towering presence, making the abstract forms feel architectural and grounded.
The work relies on the interaction of light and shadow within its flat planes to suggest volume. Rather than relying on organic curves, Valle uses the repetition of hard edges to build a rhythmic pulse across the canvas, resulting in a composition that feels both calculated and intensely alive.
The work uses non-representational shapes to build a balanced composition that prioritizes form and color over literal imagery.
The portrait orientation creates a narrow field of vision that emphasizes the height and towering presence of the central figure against the graffiti.
The arrangement of shapes creates an illusion of vibrating energy and mechanical force within a static frame.
