In this composition, Rakos utilizes a squared orientation to frame a moment of pure, lighthearted absurdity. The giraffe, characterized by its distinct patterns and elongated form, appears entirely at home amidst a mountain of bubbles, subverting the typical majesty of the savanna for something far more intimate and charming. The tight framing emphasizes the height of the subject, forcing the viewer to look up into a scene that balances clean lines with the organic texture of the bath foam.

There is a gentle wit in how the artist handles the subject matter, leaning into a storybook aesthetic that feels both grounded and imaginative. By stripping away a natural habitat and replacing it with a tiled interior, the work focuses on the personality of the animal and the tactile quality of the bubbles. It is a study in joyful incongruity, rendered with a clarity that makes the surreal premise feel like a quiet, everyday ritual.
