Art Analysis
A vibrant garden sanctuary overlooking the sun-drenched Mediterranean coast
Drawing inspiration from the Fauvist tradition, this composition uses vibrant blocks of colour to define a sun-drenched terrace. The foreground is thick with blooming roses and stalks of lavender, rendered in soft watercolour washes that bleed into one another, contrasting against the clean, architectural geometry of the villa walls and the distant horizon.
The perspective invites a sense of quiet adventure, looking out from a private balcony toward a sprawling cityscape nestled against the water. By merging digital vector techniques with traditional painterly textures, the artist captures the salt-air atmosphere and the rhythmic beauty of a garden in full bloom without sacrificing the crisp clarity of the landscape.
The work explores the intersection of cultivated flora and the vast, open horizon of the sea.
The artist combines the organic, bleeding edges of watercolour with the defined, scalable precision of vector shapes.
The composition focuses on the architectural silhouette of a cityscape as it settles into the natural environment of the coast.
