In this portrait-oriented digital collage, taudalpoi strips away the distraction of color to focus on the stark interplay of light and shadow. The composition functions as a visual puzzle, layering disparate elements to create a sense of depth that defies traditional perspective. By manipulating scale and texture within a monochrome palette, the artist suggests a world that is both familiar and fundamentally alien, inviting a slow exploration of its sharp edges and soft gradients.

The work leans heavily into the traditions of surrealism, where the ordinary is recontextualized into something uncanny. The digital medium allows for seamless transitions between these fragmented realities, making the impossible feel structurally sound. It is an exercise in balance, finding a strange harmony within the chaos of an abstract foreign land that exists only through the lens of the artist’s imagination.
