Art Analysis
Interlocking shapes and grainy textures
This square image presents a dense arrangement where circles, triangles, and rectangles fit together to cover the entire surface. Because the shapes spread from edge to edge, the eye moves across the whole picture rather than resting on one middle spot. Thick bands and large blocks of color sit behind smaller circles and thin lines, creating a sense of different layers. The colors include pink, purple, orange, green, and white, all appearing with a rough, grainy texture.
Bremmer builds on her geometric modern abstract pattern by mixing sharp angles with rounded forms. Thin lines cut through larger squares and rectangles, connecting different parts of the image. While some areas feature solid blocks of color, others are filled with tiny dots and narrow strips that break up the larger sections. The lack of any text or lettering keeps the focus entirely on how these flat shapes and lines interact across the frame.
