In this square-format digital drawing, Rakos explores a striking contrast between the fierce energy of a tiger and the quiet depth of a nocturnal ocean. The use of a pink palette for the animal subverts traditional wildlife imagery, leaning into a graphic design sensibility that prioritizes high-impact color and clean, illustrative shapes. The composition feels both contained and expansive, using the symmetry of the square frame to anchor the bold subject matter.

The artwork functions as a bridge between traditional animal portraiture and modern digital art. By stripping away realistic textures in favor of flat, stylized forms, the piece emphasizes the silhouette and the emotional weight of the color choices. It is an exercise in visual balance, where the warmth of the pink tiger glows against the cool, dark tones of the water, creating a rhythmic pulse within the frame.
