In this portrait-oriented illustration, Kosunen employs a bold graphic design language to organize the chaotic beauty of a garden. The composition balances the fluid, rounded forms of playful cats with the sharp, rhythmic repetition of botanical elements. By using a digital medium, the artist achieves clean lines and a saturated palette that emphasizes the interaction between the animals and their leafy environment, turning a simple nature scene into a structured narrative of discovery.

The work leans into a cartoon aesthetic that prioritizes character and charm over realism, allowing the viewer to focus on the expressive postures of the cats. Each plant is rendered with a distinct silhouette, creating a layered sense of depth that feels both flat and immersive. It is a study of how living things occupy space, celebrating the quiet, mischievous moments found when domestic life meets the wilder edges of the backyard.
