In this landscape illustration, Lynnda Rakos populates the frame with a cast of expressive rabbits that feel pulled from a classic storybook or a vintage television short. The composition relies on bold, flattened shapes and a specific color palette that mimics the printed textures of a bygone era, giving the digital medium a tactile, weathered soul. Each character possesses a distinct personality, contributing to a sense of organized chaos and communal joy.

The artwork balances the clean precision of digital art with the whimsical imperfections of retro design. By focusing on rhythmic repetition and stylized anatomy, Rakos creates a world that feels both familiar and fantastical. The horizontal orientation allows the viewer’s eye to travel across the gathering, discovering small details in the ears, eyes, and postures of the animals that define this spirited celebration.
