In this composition, the artist employs a methodical approach to landscape, replacing broad brushstrokes with a dense field of individual marks. The repetition of dots creates a vibrating sense of light and shadow, allowing the terrain to feel both solid and ethereal. By focusing on the interplay of these small elements, the work highlights the subtle shifts in tone that define a rolling vista.

The horizontal orientation emphasizes the expansive reach of the scenery, drawing the viewer’s gaze across a balanced and tranquil arrangement. There is a tactile quality to the surface, where the deliberate placement of each point suggests a slow, meditative process of creation. The result is a scene that feels deeply grounded in the physical act of mark-making while capturing the stillness of an open field.
