In this digital composition, Hearn reimagines the traditional landscape by looking upward and outward into the deep reaches of the cosmos. The work balances the structured orientation of a classic horizon line with the fluid, unpredictable nature of nebulae and starlight, creating a sense of place within the void. By blending abstract forms with recognizable celestial motifs, the artist invites a meditation on the scale of the universe and our imaginative connection to it.

The surrealist influence is evident in how the light behaves, pulsing with a rhythmic intensity that feels both alien and familiar. Rather than a literal map of the stars, the piece functions as an emotional topography, using digital tools to layer depth and luminescence. The result is a vibrant exploration of space that prioritizes atmosphere and light over scientific precision, grounding the viewer in a dreamlike, expansive environment.
