In this portrait-oriented illustration, Katariina Kosunen explores the dense geometry of a fruiting garden. The composition relies on the repetition of botanical forms, using the natural shapes of strawberry runners and serrated leaves to create a sense of infinite growth. By leaning into a pattern-based approach, the work moves beyond a simple depiction of fruit and becomes a study of how nature fills a space with layered, interlocking textures.

The digital execution allows for a crispness that highlights the specific anatomy of the plants, from the delicate seeds on the berries to the rhythmic veins of the greenery. There is a quiet focus on the cycle of the harvest, rendered with a warmth that feels grounded in the earth. The result is a piece that celebrates the complexity of the natural world through a modern, graphic clarity.
