This work utilizes digital collage to merge the familiar with the far-reaching. By placing elements of a traditional landscape against the backdrop of deep space, the artist creates a sense of longing that feels both personal and universal. The composition relies on a portrait orientation to emphasize the vertical reach from the grounded earth toward the astronomical wonders above, suggesting a narrative of connection that spans across light-years.

The aesthetic leans heavily into a retro sensibility, using muted tones and grainy textures that evoke the feel of mid-century science fiction illustrations. Instead of a cold or clinical view of the universe, the piece presents space as a lush, emotive environment. It is a study in contrasts—the smallness of the world below versus the grand, rhythmic patterns of the cosmos, all held together by a cohesive digital assembly.
