Unsuspecting, like an ostrich with its head in the sand. Over here, something is being offered, so don't pay attention to what is over there. We are all too trusting sometimes. Our attention is drawn to some small thing, some smoke screen, while something bigger gets by without notice. This piece contains symbolic elements. Why does only the lady reflect in the shiny floor tiles? She is obscured by screens, yet we do not see them reflected. She is real. The rest is imagined or contrived. The need for awareness in life cannot be overstated.
