In this digital illustration, Rakos employs a flat, graphic sensibility to explore the intersection of the individual and the outdoors. The composition utilizes a squared orientation to create a sense of balance, framing the central portrait with vibrant patterns that suggest the wild energy of nature. Every line is intentional, leaning into a folk-inspired aesthetic that prioritizes high-contrast color and clear, cartoon-influenced shapes over traditional realism.

The piece functions as a celebration of color and character. By stripping away complex shading in favor of solid blocks of pigment and sharp outlines, the artist emphasizes the emotional clarity of the subject. The result is a spirited visual narrative that feels both grounded in traditional folk art storytelling and distinctly modern in its digital execution.
