In this portrait-oriented work, Kosunen explores the intersection of animal form and imaginative design. The fish is rendered not as a biological specimen, but as a collection of vibrant purple hues and rhythmic lines that suggest movement through a digital medium. The composition utilizes the height of the frame to emphasize the creature's silhouette, allowing the viewer to focus on the interplay between the subject and the negative space surrounding it.

The technique merges the clean aesthetics of graphic design with the expressive qualities of freehand drawing. By stripping away environmental detail, the artist highlights the whimsical personality of the fish through bold color choices and stylized features. It is a focused exercise in digital mark-making that celebrates the charm of the natural world through a distinctly modern, illustrative lens.
