In this portrait-oriented digital piece, Carla Daly replaces traditional cartographic precision with a sense of wonder and play. The map of the UK serves as a vibrant backdrop for a series of whimsical illustrations, where animals and landmarks define the landscape. Each region is marked by distinct icons that invite the viewer to wander through a stylized version of the British Isles, making the act of navigation feel like a storybook adventure.

The artist utilizes a clean, cartoon aesthetic characterized by bold outlines and a bright palette. By blending the functional nature of a travel map with the imaginative spirit of children's illustration, Daly creates a piece that prioritizes personality over coordinates. It is a work that celebrates exploration through a lens of friendliness and curiosity, turning a geographic overview into a collection of small, smiling moments.
